Hayley and Lee’s Fabulous Hogarths Stone Manor Wedding
Hayley and Lee booked their Wedding at Hogarths Stone Manor, an awesome venue tucked into some lovely rolling countryside just outside of Kidderminster. Hayley chose the always amazing Ruth Hancox MUA to get the girls ready for the big day. Ruth loves a good bit of Disco music so by the time I arrived the funky fresh sounds of Ruth’s disco playlist was in full swing. A good bit of laughing and joking (#Badger haha) and the addition of some Champagne had Hayley, her Mom and the Bridesmaids nice and relaxed before it was time to tie the knot.
Lee arrived with Best man Dave and a special guest, the happy couples Springer Lola. Lola had a pretty important job for the day, bearing the rings during the ceremony. Now I’ve seen mates, kids, dogs and even an Owl perform this task and Lola did it flawlessly. Not always the case, though, an Owl flew up into rafters once and the couple in question had to wait for fifteen minutes before the handler could persuade it down. My recommendation, always take a spare set of rings when using an animal, just in case or don’t take a Barn Owl to a Barn Wedding! The couple tied the know in glorious fashion surrounded by family and friends.
The room was decorated to perfection on the morning courtesy of Wedding Concepts by Lisa Marie, the ladies were hard at work making sure everything was looking great for the newlyweds. Finished off with an amazing cake from Donna Perks Cakes with a cascade of claret and blue flowers, Lee’s colour of choice, topped with a decoration of the couple and Lola. Infiniti magic kept guests, kids especially, entertained with a good bit of banter and magic. Dave had the only speech covered with a short and sweet Bestman’s speech. The evening was finished off in class style with Baby D “Let Me Be Your Fantasy” as first dance with a stack of guests joining the couple on the dancefloor to cut some shapes.
