Lydia and Adam’s Manor Hill House Wedding, Upton Warren.
Lydia was ready to go for her big day. The ladies had their hair done at Elizabeth and Giovanni’s Hair Salon before getting to the venue. Makeup was in the safe hands of Elaine Cooper who was in full flow when I arrived at the venue. Elaine is a consummate professional in the trade and an all round lovely lady! If you ‘re looking for makeup or hair you can’t go far wrong check her out for more details.
Adam arrived with his boys in the Landrover provided to him for the big day by his work, a nice gesture. The lads were winding him up about only putting a fiver in the petrol tank on the way over and we all had a good laugh whilst getting some images in front of the car and over by Manor Hill’s stables, home to the famous Jack the Horse. Jack is a Manor Hill celebrity and is always ready for a bit of fuss and a quick photo opportunity.
The team at Manor Hill House are always prepared and today was no exception. The weather was baking, so the happy couple opted to have their ceremony outside. This year Manor Hill had a pavilion installed so couples can take advantage of the beautiful grounds and views of the venue by conducting the marriage ceremony outside. It went down a storm with an emotional Adam watching his Bride walk the manicured lawn aisle with her Dad. Jasmine, one of Manor Hill’s wedding dream team, helped me out with organising people for the group shots while Chris and Briony got on with some real work, haha, and a late appearance by Charley, another of Manor Hill’s dream team, meant the day went without a hitch. Chris the resident DJ at the house also put in a shift providing all the musical entertainment for the day.
Stand out’s of the day for me was the awesome speech from Mia, Lydia’s cousin. A great piece of work from a lovely kid, you should be proud of yourself young lady. A touching Groom’s speech by Adam with an emotional toast to those who couldn’t attend. Also, the three “first” dances; Lydia and Adam, a touching Father/Daughter dance and a double edition Grandfather/Granddaughter dance to “You’ll Never Walk Alone”. Now I won’t mention football but the dance was lovely and very emotional for Lydia and Henry. Adam and his Mom, Yvonne joined up to show there moves at the end and finished off a great day.
