Mark and Tiana's Warwick House Wedding.

Mark & Tiana’s Warwick House Wedding Photography, Southam.

Mark & Tiana’s big day was wet! It properly rained from driving over to the venue right up into the evening. Did it phase this pair? Absolutely not. These two were gonna get married and rock the day, crappy British weather or not.

The boys had a bit of a panic with wrong waistcoats the day before the Wedding. The suit company saved the day, going above and beyond to make sure Mark and his boys had exactly what they needed. They had custom waistcoats ordered in arriving the morning of the big day and had them hand-delivered from the Centre of London out to where Mark’s parents lived before the shop even opened. Mark’s parents and some family making the journey down from the Big Smoke and making sure the Groom, Ushers and Best Man were looking tip-top for the day.

First time shooting at Warwick House for me and it didn’t disappoint. From arriving there first thing the staff were awesome. Looking after me, filling me in with all the details and running plans for the day and keeping me fed and watered. You couldn’t have asked for a more hospitable venue. The place itself, lovely! I knew the weather wasn’t going to be a problem as the inside was stunning. When the bad weather falls us photographers need to think outside the box. The main thing to be affected is formal group shots. Unless you have a large space to work with you need a nice focal point and need to reduce the groups down to more manageable numbers. Warwick House helped me shuffle a couple of sofa’s around and the family rocked a beautiful bay window providing the perfect place to get the images the couple needed.

Cutting of the cake started the evening's festivities. Tiana sneaked in a Harry Potter themed decoration to the cake, which if she had her way the whole Wedding would have been styled. A great first dance followed by a Father / Daughter dance with the DJ firing up the crowd with some dancefloor classics. An American styled BBQ buffet put on for the evening guests went down a storm. Even managed to bag myself a cheeky cheeseburger before I finished up. The rain actually stopped in the end and the lads plus Tiana and her bridesmaid went out the front for the traditional evening cigars. I’m not sure Lenina, the Bridesmaid, will be taking up cigars judging from her reactions.

An awesome, fun couple absolutely unphased by the weather on the day. A great wedding at a stunning venue with great family and guests.
